PERM - 2nd shift - Tues-Sat. 3:30pm-12am - Training for 6 weeks on 1st shift from Mon – Fri from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Must Haves:
- Experience with automated packaging systems including robots, leak detectors, and vision systems
- Experience with setting up, troubleshooting, repairing automated industrial machinery/equipment
- 2-3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience or equivalent on the job training.
- Basic electronic training in a formal atmosphere or equivalent on the job training.
- 1+ years of PLC experience.
Plusses:
- Experience with blow molding machines
- Has their own tool set
Responsibilities:
- The Automation Systems Technician position is to be the in-house resource for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the automated packaging systems
- To perform any and all tasks necessary to maximize efficiency and uptime of the automated packaging systems including robots, leak detectors and vision systems.
- Set up and maintain leak detectors and vision systems.
- Sets up new robot application for automated packaging.
- Performs general maintenance & repairs on automation equipment (robots, leak detectors and vision systems).
- Setup, trouble shoot and debug new automation applications.
